What they all have in common
- One sheet, every time. Each is drawn at 816×1056 — US Letter at 96 dpi — so printing at 100% fills exactly one page. A4 works too; choose "fit to printable area".
- No account, no watermark, no limit on the six that run in your browser. Only the photo converter needs a sign-in after the first one, because it costs real money to run.
- Nothing is uploaded by the six browser-side tools. The photo never leaves your device for colour by number or dot to dot.
- Answer keys for the maze, word search, dot to dot and colour by number. Print one with the answer showing for yourself, then turn it off for everyone else.
- PNG and SVG download as well as printing. The SVG scales to any size without going soft, which is what a print shop wants.
Printing so it actually looks right
Print at 100% or "Actual size", never "Fit to page" — scaling thins the lines unpredictably and can crop the edges. Choose greyscale or black-ink-only so the printer does not mix a muddy black from the colour cartridges.
Ordinary 20 lb / 75 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and coloured pencils. Water-based markers bleed through it, so step up to 32 lb / 120 gsm if markers are involved, and print single-sided.
Common questions
Are these really free?
Yes. Six of the seven are drawn entirely in your browser, so they cost us nothing to run and there is no limit and no watermark. The photo to coloring page converter is the exception: it uses a paid image model, so the first one is free and after that you need a free account, which comes with 10 credits a month.
Do I need to sign up?
Not for the maze, word search, name coloring, name tracing, dot to dot or colour by number. Only the photo converter asks you to sign in, and only after your first page.
Will they print on A4?
Yes. Everything is drawn at US Letter proportions, which is very close to A4. Print at 100% for Letter, or choose "fit to printable area" for A4 and you will lose a few millimetres of margin at most.
Can I use these in my classroom?
Yes, print as many as you need for your class or family. Reselling the generated sheets, or publishing them in a book for sale, is not permitted.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
For colour by number and dot to dot, no — the picture is read and processed in your browser and never leaves your device. The photo to coloring page converter does send the image to be redrawn, because that runs on a model we host.
Which one suits a three-year-old?
The name coloring page with thick outlines, an easy maze, or a dot to dot set to 15–20 dots. Name tracing suits about 3–6, and colour by number works better from 5 or 6 once small regions stop being frustrating.
